Where does the name DILO come from?
A language, whatever it is, is a means of communication. Learning a language is not just about knowing the rules of grammar, writing or reading. It is also and above all about SPEAKING.
¡DILO alto y claro, tú DILO! (Say it loud and clear, you SAY it!)
No tengas vergüenza, ¡DILO! (Don’t be ashamed, SAY IT!)
Ánimo, ¡DILO! (Be brave, SAY IT!)
¡Vamos, DILO! (Come on, SAY IT!)
Where does DILO come from? From the imperative of the verb DECIR. So, the intention is to encourage the student to SAY, to speak. To really use the language.
